IN CHARACTER
PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Touch is difficult for Viktor. Not because he isn’t touch-starved (he is), but because he is a touch telepath, and hasn’t yet figured out how to block this ability. Attempt with caution.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Unlikely to be initiated on Viktor’s part. He really doesn’t like physical violence, and will explore every avenue to avoid it.
RELATIONSHIPS: In general, he’s only ever had casual encounters with people, and an actual relationship would necessitate significant build-up. That isn’t to say he’s totally against it — especially if he already feels comfortable with the person. Just that it could be difficult to break down his walls.
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: Viktor is a powerful healer who uses a psychic connection in order to identify and cure ailments. He does this by entering a person’s mind through the astral plane, which can sometimes be a hostile place if his charge is suffering greatly. His own mind appears corrupted, much like purple spider webbing. Don’t touch it, even in the astral plane. It will retaliate.
MAGICAL INFORMATION: Viktor is made of magic. He’s a living rune matrix, essentially, and anyone who can sense magic will feel it broadcast from him like a homing beacon.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: While his transformation afforded him more mobility than he once had, Viktor isn’t “cured.” He is still physically disabled, and can’t be on his feet for long periods of time without experiencing chronic pain in his legs and back. Viktor uses his staff for support, and regularly recharges in order to mitigate some of his symptoms.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Viktor struggles with body dysmorphia, internalized ableism, drug use, terminal illness, and an unknowable entity whispering to him in his head. He also talks openly about death and has, in the past, contemplated suicide. If you want to opt out of interacting with him, don’t hesitate to let me know! Whenever possible, I do my best to clear these topics with a scene partner before delving into any of them.

SEXUALITY: I play Viktor as a gay man. There has been a long-standing tradition in media to sterilize disabled characters and portray them as non-sexual, and I don’t subscribe to that for Viktor. While being asexual is absolutely cool for some characters, I believe there is plenty of evidence that he’s had casual sex before and that he’s even been quite literally seduced by the Hexcore. This man likes it freaky.
SHIPS: Jayce, Giopara, Mel and Viktor (platonic) with Jayce, Vander/Warwick, Silco, other Viktors, the Hexcore (lmao), cross-canon.
NO THANK YOU: Singed, anyone younger than 25.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
VISUAL: Viktor doesn’t look entirely human (he’s a biomechanical cyborg, if we’re getting technical). He stands at a slight 5’7” with purple, glowing skin and iridescent eyes, and his attire is what you might expect from Obi-Wan Kenobi circa the Tatooine era if he was finally embracing his sexual confidence and running a cult.
AURAL: He has a soft, gentle voice and what sounds like a vaguely Slavic accent. It’s been confirmed by Harry Llyod, his voice actor, that his inspiration was initially Czech, but it morphed over time. Basically, Viktor would’ve killed it as an ASMR content creator.
OLFACTORY: Because of the Hexcore now fused to his body, Viktor smells like iron and ozone, the sweet, pungent aroma created by an oncoming storm. He used to smell more like the things in his lab, but since his transformation, he’s embraced his more earthy, natural scents.
DEMEANOUR: Viktor isn’t easily riled, generally maintaining a calm, confident presence even in the midst of chaos. That doesn’t mean he’s a very rational person — in fact, he’s deeply emotional, restless and impatient, and stubborn in the extreme. He just isn’t physically able to pace, so that energy comes out in other ways.

OUT OF CHARACTER
BACKTAGGING: Definitely good.
THREADHOPPING: Feel free. It only bothers me if the other character consistently makes no attempt to talk to mine, but will threadjack my posts.
FOURTHWALLING: No thank you.
